Back in Melbourne, and straight into work, on my birthday aswell (5/12).
I only managed to shoot 4 rolls on my Hasselblad while in Japan, but i think i took some interesting photos, most of them are on my flickr stream (link: top left).

On the last night of our trip, Hankyu Ferris Wheel tonight! Even though we couldn’t stay in Kyoto we still managed to spend 2 days there, highlight of the trip no doubt. After seeing our 8th Geisha in one day, i started to think something was up, and yes you guessed it, for a simple fee you too can dress up and walk around like a Geisha. Only you’re not one, but hey everyone else will think it’s the real deal!

Anyway, lots of cool crafty stores about the streets in Gion, and the BEST interior for a clothing store ive seen to date Hanjiro, search for it, amazing!

To sum up the trip, its been fun even though the exchange rate is SHIT, but the people and food are great (np: not for vegetarians). Until next time Japan.
